There are 3 major airports to choose from JFK, Laguardia And Newark Newarks located in Northern New Jersey And is actually as close to midtown Manhattan as JFK is. And your best bet to start is to go to google flights And go through your dates, and pick all 3 of those airports Especially if you're flying domestically From the United States A second option would be to sign up for a service like Scott's Cheap Flights Which I love by the way And what they do is they send you e-mails of flight deals Pretty much on a daily basis and I'm sure that New York City would be on that list If it's somewhere that you're interested in traveling to Because flight deals to New York tend to pop up More often than you would think so those are your two best options To get cheap deals.
Book Cheap flights to NewYork

In fact, I did an entire video dedicated..on finding a cheap hotel in New York City 105 dollars a night Pre-tax And you are in a great neighborhood In the heart of Downtown Manhattan The financial district Linked down below In the description But let's go through some of the basics Number one Time of year If you come to New York City after the holidays During the winter You are going to get by far the best prices possible Because well the least amount of tourists want to come to New York in January, February, and let's even say March As well Those 3 months are certainly going to be. Your cheapest bets What if you want to come here. When it's warmer out. I can't say I blame you If you're going to stay in Downtown or Midtown Manhattan You are going to spend by far the most money Unless you're a night owl And going out to bars and clubs is very high on your list I think you would do just fine staying in either Northern New Jersey Queens Or even parts of Brooklyn.
All of those spots have very good transportation To get to Manhattan And almost any hour of the day The exception being late at night when the subways aren't running as frequently Or.. the buses to Northern New Jersey Aren't running at all If you're a night owl You may want to plant yourself in Manhattan Or better yet Stay in Williamsburg Or Bushwick, Brooklyn Both of which have incredible nightlife By themselves Being outside of Manhattan Another option is staying at a hostel Yes there are hostels in New York Some of them are quite affordable Another option is to go to Chinatown Where some of the cheapest hotels In the entire city are located The issue is.. Some of them are quasi hostels. Quasi hotels You're going to be in a converted room And the walls are going to be paper-thin You're going to hear your neighbor coughing or snoring throughout the night But you're going to stay in Manhattan It could be worth it Another tip I highly recommend is staying at an Airbnb that's already in somebody's apartment So essentially you are renting out. A spare bedroom While the owner of the apartment is there And that is one of the only legal ways To rent an Airbnb and flights to New York City Right now You can get the best deals Doing that.
